BONDING! NB powder, Fulcolor's cutting-edge technology in the product
portfolio, is a new product line of metallic effect pigment for powder
coating industry. The aluminum flake was coated with silicon and
subsequently coated with resin. With resin encapsulation, the aluminum
powder can be charged as base powder without spitting problem during
spray. The resin layer will be cured as film outside the aluminum flake
resembling clear top coat. The resin layer also increases the chemical
resistance, weather fastness, fingerprint resistance and adhesion. NB
metallic effect pigment can help customer to skip bonding process and it
can be used for high dosage in the formulation. NB metallic effect
pigment is considered as Non-DG product and is more environmentally
friendly and safe for handling.
